Day : 1 - Book: 1. The Buddha And The Badass by Vishen Lakhiani

The month of February is going to be the month of books which is filled with lots of wisdom and learning. For the next four weeks the daily posts are about the reviews of particular four life changing books from self-help literature or wisdom literature. The review of each book will be posted for seven days (one week). The reviews will be based on the concepts and ideas which will make you fall in love with those particular books as well as it will inspire you to read and learn more about self-help books. I hope that the reviews will be useful for everyone who is searching for a life-changing phenomenon.

The reason behind choosing self-helps books are they will teach us wisdom directly. Knowledge and intelligence is important because the collection of data is always essential to grow in life but on the other hand wisdom is all about choosing the right data which exists within ourselves at the right time period. Wisdom is all about figuring out “Where to speak?” “What to speak?”

The book for this week “The Buddha And The Badass” written by Vishen Lakhiani. Here, the Buddha is the spiritual master and the badass is the changemaker which lies within everyone of us. One of the most enriching ideas which attracted me towards this book was “Spark Deep Connections”. In which the author introduces to the reader about the beautiful concept called “Positive Optimism”. The idea of “Positive Optimism” teaches us about how to choose positivity even during the tough times in our life. Whenever, we feel low, lost and sad we should always search for something around us which can change our feelings and can bring a spark of positive energy within us.

Here, the concept of Positive Optimism also teaches us that we should experience any kind of emotion which resides within us fully to get over from that. For that, we have believe that our roots are connected with positivity and good emotions. Make your emotions as your companions because running away from experiencing any kind of emotion may make us feel low in life.

To be continued with another beautiful concept. Stay Connected.
