Positivity Through Books: Day- 5

Name of the Book: I am always here with you

Author: Himanshu Rai

Samuel Taylor Coleridge, a Poet and aesthetic philosopher introduced the term “Willing Suspension of Disbelief". Few people might not agree with this term but many of us will believe and accept this term as true. If you believe in the above term this book is for you.

The book “I am always here with you” by Himanshu Rai is a gothic-fiction which will make us believe that “Love never dies”. The protagonist Kartik falls in love with Ashima and they get married after few years. Later, Ashima gets married with another man in the presence of Kartik around her but the love between Kartik and Ashima remains the same.

The book “I am always her with you” will break all the logical stereotypes which we humans believe. This book is an indicator which proves “Don’t search for the logic in life rather enjoy and love the Magic of life”.

If you have became curious about how Ashima gets married to another person in the presence of Kartik around her. The questions about love and relationship arises in your mind then do read this book and fall in the pages of extreme love.

“I am always here with you” is one of my personal favorite book which tempts me to read it over again and again when I see this book in my bookshelf. The epic disclaimer in the page number 82 will make you fall in love with this wonderful piece of art by Himanshu Rai.

Positivity Through Books: Day- 4

Name of the Book: Tuesdays with Morrie

Author: Mitch Albom

A reader reads atleast 500 to 600 books in their lifetime but only few books will always stay in the hearts of the reader forever. Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom is one among that best book which will stay in the hearts of the reader forever. The book is an non-fiction and also an inspirational book which teaches many life lessons to the humans.

The author “Mitch Albom” has immortalized his professor Morrie Schwartz through this book. After reading this book everyone will crave to have a professor like Morrie. One of my favorite line from this book is “Love is how you still alive even after you are gone”.

The book is about the professor Morrie who was in his deathbed diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The wisdom he share with Mitch (Morrie’s former student as well the author of this book) about life will make the readers love Morrie and accept him as their own professor.

If you have not yet read this book please to read it atleast once in your lifetime. This book will change your perspective towards life and also will teach you how precious and meaningful life is. Here, are the few samples of Wisdom from this beautiful book

“Accept what you are able to do and what you are not able to do, accept the past as past without denying it or discarding it, learn to forgive yourself and to forgive others, Don’t assume that its too late to get involved”.

“Sometimes you cannot believe what you see but you have to believe what you feel”.

“Family is about, not just love, but letting others know there’s someone who is watching out for them”

Positivity Through Books: Day- 3

Name of the Book: Such is Her Life

Author: Reecha Agarwal Goyal

The picturization of the words in the books are captured in our imagination. We capture many books but only few of them will always stay in our heart. The book “Such is Her Life” by Reecha Agarwal Goyal will always stay in the minds and the hearts of the readers as a everlasting image. The book is the collection of musings about the life of women from her birth till death.

This book consists of few short poems and quotations about the women from the feministic point of view. Today, women lead a very independent lifestyle even in the small towns and rural areas but this situation was never same before a century back or few decades ago.

During those days women struggled a lot for everything from education to marriage. We know that background history but at few times we forget them. Now, this book “Such is Her Life” is a great reminder which flashes the life of the women in the olden days and their pathetic struggles.

Do read this book to understand how blessed the women are in this present world with all sorts of support from the family as well as the society. There might be few problems even today but they are nothing compared to the life of the women who lived before 50 years. Be thankful for this present condition without complaining about the simple issues.

Positivity Through Books: Day- 2

Name of the Book: The Power of your Subconscious Mind

Author: Dr. Joseph Murphy

Each and every form of art will always convey some sort of moral to the human beings but the self-help literature and books are considered to be the manual guide for humans which helps them to lead their life in a proper and well-constructed way. The book “The Power of your Subconscious Mind” by Dr. Joseph Murphy teaches us many life-changing lessons. Most, importantly the book tells about the power of the human mind. As, we all know that our thoughts design and decide our destiny. Here, the book is an indicator to prove that the human thoughts are more powerful than we think. To sustain and to keep track of our thoughts the subconscious mind plays a vital role.

The things which have been stored in our sub-conscious mind will turn out to be our habits and behaviors but the sub-conscious mind does not have any analytical skills to differentiate between the good and bad. Rather, our sub-conscious mind will store all the thoughts which are emitted by our conscious mind. Later, even after our conscious mind forgets about those thoughts our sub-conscious will remember and think over it for a long time.

The book “The Power of your Subconscious Mind” teaches us to think only the good thoughts because good thoughts will always generate a positive energy. The ultimate teaching in this book is that “Man is as strong as he thinks he is, and as valuable as he thinks he is”. So, think good and became good.

Positivity Through Books: Day- 1

Name of the Book : Life is What You Make it
Author: Preeti Shenoy

From today till the end of this month we are going to see about the importance of books and reading. “Positivity through Books” is the tagline of this month July 2020.

We will never forget the first book which we have read in our life. It will be stored as a evergreen memory in our heart. The first book which we read will make a great impact within us towards books and reading. The first book I have read in my life is Preeti Shenoy’s “Life is What You Make it”. The book revolves around it’s protagonist Ankita, a girl in her 20’s. She suffers from bipolar disorder but she overcomes that through her zest for life.

The book “Life is What you Make it” gives us three important lessons or moral to each and every individual who read this book. The first and the foremost important lesson is that “Never belittle Love”. Love is considered to be the superior of all human emotions. The book teaches us to love ourselves and also the people around us without any sorts of regrets.

The second most important lesson the book teaches us is that “We are what our thoughts have made us. So take care what you think”. Here, we can know how important and powerful human thoughts are. Thoughts have the immense power to transform our life. The book reminds us to have good thoughts in life because our thoughts design our destiny.

The last and the most important lesson the book tells us is that “Words and kindness have the power to heal more than medicines”. This indicates that words are always the companion of humans and kindness will make us love our life even more than we do.

The book “Life is What you Make it” teaches us to love our life more than anything in this world and tells us that life gets better with positive energy. So, as a human we should be positive towards life and living.

Attitude towards Reading

American Essayist Henry David Thoreau tells that “Books are the treasured wealth of the world”. William Nicholson says that “We read to know that we are not alone”. Here, we can understand the glory of books as well as the beauty and importance of reading.

Books should always be our integral part of life to make our life a fruitful one. Reading will always make us grow in all aspects of life. A reader can understand and love all the things around him better than the others. Through reading we can discover our own self.

The benefits of reading are infinite but it is very hard to state the disadvantages of possessing the habit of reading because reading is such a precious quality. Reading will make us knowledgeable, wise and non-judgemental towards others. The most beautiful benefit of reading is that “we can understand our fellow humans better and we can able to think from their perspective”. Reading gives this most tremendous quality of accepting others in the way they are.

All the holy scripts like Bhagavat Gita, Quran and Bible are the great examples which proves us that the books can change the life of human beings and books can work wonders in this world. So, if you are a reader continue to read more and if you are not a reader develop the habit of reading.

Today, the ten days phase of rediscovery gets over but a important positive message for next 31 days is waiting for you all from tomorrow. July is going to be the most special month with so many beautiful and positive changes. 31 days of Positivity starts from tomorrow and I have left a clue for you all in today’s post.

Attitude of Gratitude for the Mother Earth

We the human beings born on this earth are blessed with the abundant beauty of nature. The trees, mountains, sky, clouds, stars, moon and all the greenery around us. The immortal beauty of nature fills the humans with the sense of immense happiness. Man may create and invent many things but any of his invention will never be equal to the splendid beauty of nature.

The shining and twinkling stars are the indicator which indicates that there is a spark of light within every individual born on this earth. The sun teaches us to have a strong faith towards everything we face in life because there is always a sunrise after a sunset. The sky tells us that we are the small speck of dust in this whole large world. The mountains indicates us to stay strong all the time irrespective of what we go through in life.

The greeneries around us show that life is always engaging and pleasant. The mother earth and the nature holds so many hidden positive lessons for us to learn and adapt but it is up to an particular individual to find and follow the positive energy present in this universe.

So, be grateful towards everything which is the part of this earth. We are the gifted ones to love and live in this world.
